Jack Veneno, born Rafael Sánchez, was a renowned professional wrestler from the Dominican Republic. He was known for his charismatic persona, high-flying wrestling style, and iconic wrestling mask. Veneno rose to fame in the 1980s and became a national hero in the Dominican Republic, attracting large crowds to his wrestling matches.
Veneno was a multi-time champion in various wrestling promotions in the Caribbean and Latin America. He had a fierce rivalry with fellow Dominican wrestler Relámpago Hernández, which drew record-breaking crowds to their matches. Veneno was also a popular figure outside of the wrestling ring, appearing in movies, TV shows, and music videos.
Unfortunately, Veneno's life was cut short when he passed away in 2018 due to complications from diabetes. However, his legacy as one of the greatest professional wrestlers in Dominican history continues to live on.
